The Academy offers fun and exciting activities and engaging and informative courses during its Summer Programs for boys and girls in grades Pre-School (age three) to 12.
Students can build upon the academics learned during the school year, develop and enhance skills and explore new academic frontiers through an interactive curriculum that fosters and stimulates a love for learning.
Through a wide array of electives, students can stay in shape and be active, express themselves through the visual and performing arts or learn the latest technology tips and tricks.
GRADES PRE-SCHOOL (AGE THREE) TO EIGHT
June 5 to July 7
Students in grades Pre-School to three attend self-contained classes which follow a special, fun theme; those in grades four to eight enroll in one session of math and reading and writing and two electives of their choice during the morning session.
In the afternoon, the Academy offers an Afternoon Care Program until 5 p.m. and a wide array of special activities to further augment the summer experience, including various Sports Camps, a robotics session and much more!
GRADES NINE TO 12
June 5 to July 7
The four-week program for high school students includes a variety of on-campus courses for students to earn credits or for credit recovery. The choices include in-class instruction, hybrid courses and on-campus online options.
This year, the Academy is also offering exciting, special camps - a drone photography session conducted by the Hawai'i Drone Academy, a camp on Cybersecurity by the Air Force Association, Filmmaking Basics by the Hawai'i Women in Filmmaking (HWIF) and a session on Stop-Motion Animation.
