Annual Giving
Student tuition fees only cover a portion of Academy’s operating costs. The Sacred Hearts Fund, the Annual Fund, allows the Academy to nourish priority areas that these fees cannot cover.
Your gift to this fund provides resources benefiting students through scholarships and special programs, including the Science Symposium; classroom and campus refurbishments; teachers and other projects and more.
The Academy’s fiscal year runs from August 1 to July 31, and to qualify for tax deductions, donors are encouraged to make gifts by December 31.

Sacred Hearts Academy Welcomes Michael Rawson as Director of Development
Sacred Hearts Academy is pleased to welcome Michael “Mike” Rawson as our new Director of Development.
Mike brings more than 20 years of advancement and educational leadership experience, along with a deep commitment to Catholic education and service. Throughout his career, he has served as a classroom teacher, athletic coach, school administrator, advancement professional, and chief financial officer, providing him with a broad understanding of the many ways schools support student growth and success.
Much of Mike’s career was spent at Notre Dame Academy, an all-girls Catholic high school in Los Angeles, where he served in several leadership roles, including Economics Teacher, Director of Athletics, Director of Institutional Advancement, and Chief Financial Officer. He later expanded his experience through leadership work with Palisades Charter High School and the EduCare Foundation.
Mike shares Sacred Hearts Academy’s commitment to educating young women to lead lives of faith, purpose, and service. He looks forward to meeting students, families, alumnae, benefactors, and community partners while becoming an active presence throughout our Academy ʻohana.
His work will help strengthen connections between the generosity of our supporters and opportunities that enrich the educational experience for our students and families.
