Campaign Priorities

SACRED SPACES

When completed, the Grotto will again be a focal point at the Academy that welcomes both the Academy community and guests alike, highlighting the spiritual identity of our school and the beauty of our campus.

 

The restoration of the stained glass windows and additional interior improvements will once again make the chapel the spiritual center of our campus, serving as a setting for monthly school masses and a variety of school events.

 

Spaces to Gather and Learn

The Center will be a dedicated space for design thinking and project work by students in grades 1 through 12 to foster creativity and sense of impact. The Innovation Center provides the environment and tools to engage in out-of-the-box work that will result in new strategies for emerging opportunities or challenges. 
 

The Junior Innovation Center and outdoor classroom enhancements will further the use of design thinking and dynamic action learning in our earliest grade levels.  

 

As a central gathering space, the upper school Conference Room is where meetings and events are held – for students, faculty, guest instructors, speakers, new families and others. It will be transformed into a state-of-the-art meeting space with improvements designed to enhance functionality and expand its use.

 

The Admissions office and office of the Upper School Principal will be relocated to a more prominent location as the first welcome to our campus.  The Boardroom meeting space will be updated to provide modern functionality while honoring the 100+ year history of the Academy.

Creating space in the gym for booster and other events will showcase Sacred Hearts athletics and provide prime viewing space for cheering on Lancer teams.
 

SPACES TO WORK AND REFRESH

Improvements to both faculty lounges will make them more comfortable and usable, as well as inviting venues that increase opportunities for networking among faculty members.
