We are committed to providing access to our girl-focused programs to as many girls and young women as possible.  To that end, we have consistently provided tuition assistance and scholarship awards to families whose financial circumstances make it difficult for them to pay full tuition. We are excited to integrate NEW special tuition discount rates detailed below for the 2024-2025 academic year. If you believe you are in need of assistance, or qualify for one of our special tuition discount rates we encourage you to apply.

• Legacy Family (Alumnae) Discount
  • Students who have a mother, grandmother, or great grandmother who is an alumna of Sacred Hearts Academy are eligible for a 10% Discount off of their base tuition, excluding fees. Discounted tuition rate is able to be combined with financial aid and scholarship awards; but is not able to be combined with other discount rates or to exceed the base tuition rate.
     
• Sibling Discount
  • Families who have more than one daughter enrolled at Sacred Hearts Academy in an active academic year are eligible for a 15% Discount off the base tuition of the 2nd/3rd/etc. student's tuition, excluding fees. Discounted tuition rate is able to be combined with financial aid and scholarship awards; but is not able to be combined with other discount rates or to exceed the base tuition rate.
• Military Discount
  • As a service to America's men and women in uniform, Sacred Hearts Academy is proud to offer a 20% Discount off the base tuition of students who have an active duty parent or guardian serving in the US Military.  Discounted tuition rate is able to be combined with financial aid and scholarship awards; but is not able to be combined with other discount rates or to exceed the base tuition rate.

​​​​​​​Families that may qualify for more than one discount rate will receive the highest overall eligible discount applied to their eldest daughter's base tuition. Discount tuition rates are able to be combined with financial aid and scholarship awards; but are not to exceed the base tuition.

The Academy partners with FACTS Management for the 2024-2025 academic year, a company that provides the following payment options:

• Payment-in-Full (Annual)
• Semi-Annual Installments (Semester)
• Monthly 10-Installments (Monthly)*
• Bill processing service fee is discounted by $300 for accounts that are paid-in-full by August 20, or by $250 for accounts if half is paid by August 20 and the remaining half is paid by January 20, and by $150 for monthly payments that are made by auto deduction or credit card/debit card. 

2025-2026 Academic Year Financial Aid Application

One application may be submitted for all dependent children. Apply at https://online.factsmgt.com/aid. The FACTS Financial Aid application fee is $40; processing fee and is payable to FACTS. The priority deadline to submit a financial aid application is December 31, 2024. Financial Aid Applications will be considered on a rolling basis after December 31, 2024.

Lancer Service & Study Program (NEW): Students and families awarded tuition assistance through Financial Aid or Academy administered Scholarships in Grades 7-12 will participate in the Academy's Lancer Service & Study Program. Assignments are coordinated by the Academy. Families of all grade levels are welcomed to assist the Academy throughout the year during special events and activities. 

The following documents must be submitted to FACTS to complete the application:

• Household members' most recent completed federal tax forms (personal and business owned)
• W-2's from each job held by household members
• Forms 1099 or others documents that establish the amount of miscellaneous monthly or yearly income you currently receive (i.e. welfare, food stamps, unemployment, workers compensation, etc.)
• All corporate, partnership, and trust forms if a household member owns 20% or more interest in a corporation, partnership or trust. Send copies only; do not send originals.
• Special Circumstances? If so, please provide details in the space provided on your online application. 
• Note for separated or divorced parents and single-parent households: Although FACTS does not require income documentation from non-custodial parent, FACTS does require the custodial parent to send documentation regarding alimony and child support received (section 5) and alimony and child support paid (section 16). If the biological parents share joint custody, then income documentation from both biological parents is required,

2025-2026 Scholarship Application Now Available!

2025-2026 Scholarship & Tuition Assistance Information:
The Academy offers a number of need-based scholarships, including the prestigious Henriette Memorial Scholarship. To be considered for these scholarships, students must demonstrate financial need, character, satisfactory academic achievement and extra-curricular or service activities.

Students entering Grades 9 may apply for the Academy's Henriette Memorial Scholarship, which is a full year's tuition award, excluding books and fees. Students must apply to renew this scholarship annually. To apply, students must complete the admission application process, financial aid application process and submit a Sacred Hearts Academy Scholarship Application  by the priority deadline: December 31, 2024. Scholarship Applications will be considered on a rolling basis after December 31, 2024, pending availability of funds & awards. 

Current students or those who have been accepted to the Academy and qualify for aid may apply for other need-based scholarships. Students applying for these scholarships must complete the financial aid application process and submit a completed scholarship application form by the priority deadline: December 31, 2024.

Applicants selected for need-based scholarships will be notified by mid-April 2024; all other applicants will still be considered for financial aid awards.

Sacred Hearts Academy 24-25SY Scholarship Application
To apply for the Academy’s scholarships for the 2024-2025 school year, please follow the steps below:

1. Complete the 2024-2025 Financial Aid Application via FACTS.
2. Submit the completed Academy’s Scholarship Form and additional documents (community activities, awards and honors, and essay) to the Development Office via email at development@sacredhearts.org or or in person to the Development Office Mailbox. Our office would be happy to facilitate delivery, please feel free to email us your completed application.

Augustine Educational Foundation Tuition Scholarship

The Augustine Educational Foundation’s (AEF) Tuition Scholarship Program helps families afford tuition at Hawaii’s K-12 Catholic Schools. AEF also requires you to complete Financial Aid Assessment via FACTS.

Application Window: January 10 - March 1, 2025
*Applications received after March 1, 2025 will not be processed.

ChildCare Aware of America (Military)

Child Care Aware of America is a partner with the United States Military and Department of Defense and supports their families through their Fee Assistance and Respite Child Care Programs.

The Preschool Open Doors (POD) program assists eligible families with paying preschool fees.

The Kipona Scholarship program assists eligible families with tuition assistance attending participating private schools in Hawai'i.

Kamehameha Schools Pauahi Keiki Scholars Scholarship
The Pauahi Keiki Scholars (PKS) Scholarship program assists eligible families with tuition assistance attending participating PKS preschool programs in Hawai'i.
