The Sacred Hearts Academy's Ohana -- alumnae, families and friends -- turned out in droves for the school's scholarship fundraising gala and to celebrate the school's 100th anniversary Wednesday night at the Sheraton Waikiki. The school was founded 50 years after 10 Sisters of the Sacred Hearts came to Hawaii in 1859. About 960 guests applauded an evening filled with music and tributes to this year's distinguished honorees. Besides the Sisters, honorees were alums Sister Agnelle Ching, Elizabeth Chong and Ann Marie Kirk.
