Kiana Dietz, 11th Grade

I decided to take Video Productions because I wanted to experience something new. I’m looking forward to not only working with others but also working with the camera because it has always fascinated me. In my free time, I like to go on adventures with my friends, take pictures, go to the beach with my dogs, sing and take part in theater. I am also participating in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and have a “little brother.” In 10 years, I plan on living somewhere with a steady career and having an awesome life with my family and dogs.

Kayla Manz, 12th Grade

I decided to take Video Productions because I am really interested in how it works. It is also something I hope to study in college. I am looking forward to learning the behind-the-scenes work that goes into producing The Lancers Lately.  To me, being a part of The Lancers Lately would mean that I get to participate in bringing a fun and exciting newscast to the Sacred Hearts community. In my free time, I like to play club tennis, go to the beach and go hiking. In 10 years, I hope to be working in California for a film production company.

Alana Stroede, 12th Grade

I decided to take Video Productions because I’m considering Broadcast Journalism as a possible major in college. In this class, I’m looking forward to learning how to speak with confidence in front of a camera and how to produce a news show. At Sacred Hearts Academy, I am the president of the Spanish Club and a member of the marching band. I also participate in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. In 10 years, I see myself working for NFL, having my own Fantasy Football show, being successful and happy with life.

Kaysey Siobal, 12th Grade

I decided to take Video Productions because I am passionate about film and what takes place behind the camera. To me, being a member of The Lancers Lately crew influences how I want to take this profession into the real world and how I am able to do it amongst my friends and classmates during my last year at SHA. I am on SHA’s L.I.F.E. team. In my free time, I love to critique movies. In 10 years, I see myself being content with where I am in life, with a stable-paying job of my passion.

Morgane Athlan, 12th Grade

I decided to take Video Productions because I love to film and take pictures. I also wanted to try a new way to communicate with people. I’m kind of shy sometimes, and I try my best to understand English, as my second language. Being part of this class will definitely help me to communicate better and have more assurance in everyday life. In my free time, I play piano, write songs and hang out with friends. I also like to work out and take dance lessons.

Ryanne "Cookie" Burnett, 10th Grade

I decided to take Video Productions because I was interested in becoming an anchor, and I thought it looked fun while watching Lancers Lately in our homerooms. I’m looking forward to anchoring and learning more about video production. In my free time, I play basketball and volleyball. I also like to spend time with friends and family. In 10 years, I see myself working as either a manager or being in the military and starting a future with my significant other.

Mikayla Lancaster-Hoover, 10th Grade

I decided to take Video Productions because I’ve always loved film, so this was a good way to learn more about it. Being part of the Lancers Lately crew means that I get to contribute to the school’s newscast. During my free time, I watch videos online or play with Photoshop. In school, I’m apart of the Sporter Rifle team and Girls Who Code club. In 10 years, I would like to be on my way to becoming an amazing photographer, and I would like to be married with a family.

Aaliyah Navares 9th Grade

I decided to take Video Production because when I was in intermediate, I took a media class similar to this one. I enjoyed learning how to edit and make videos. I also joined this class because I wanted to help produce the Lancers Lately and learn more editing and filming techniques.  When I have freetime, I like to hang out with my friends, go to the beach, watch Netflix and play soccer with my family. I play for both the Eastside Soccer Club and the Sacred Hearts Academy team. In 10 years, I hope to be an athletic trainer. I would also like to be married and have started a family.

Taryn Sagapolu, 12th Grade

I decided to take Video Productions because I wanted to learn new ways of doing film. I look forward to being part of the Lancers Lately productions and seeing my skills in film progress. Being part of the crew will allow me to come out of my shell. During my freetime, I usually watch movies, go hiking or go to the beach with my family, especially my cousins. I play volleyball for an outside club and for this school. In 10 years, I hope to have finished college with either a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in nursing.
