To celebrate the legacies of students whose grandmothers and mothers are alumnae, the Legacy Dinner is held in September and features an evening filled with nostalgia, fellowship, games and good food.
Alumnae Christmas Tea
(Class of 1967) December 8, 2016 | 7:45 a.m. | Gymnasium and Conference Room
Academy graduates of the Class of 1967 celebrating their 50th reunion are welcomed to campus for this annual “homecoming” event. Alumnae join the students for the Mass of the Immaculate Conception in the Gymnasium before venturing to the Conference Room for the Christmas Tea, featuring a performance by the Academy’s Choir students.
Invitations will be sent to members of reunion classes in November.
January 5, 2017 | TBD | 12 p.m. | Academy Campus
Attending college can be daunting, and recent graduates return to campus each year to share about some of their experiences with juniors and seniors at the Alumnae Forum. During this annual event, hosted by the Counseling Department, the returning alumnae discuss a myriad of topics, including finding the university which “fits,” coping with dormitory life and balancing school, social responsibilities and the demands of working part-time.

April 25th | 6 p.m. | Saint Margaret Mary Chapel
In what has become a tradition at the Academy, members of the senior class are welcomed into the alumnae body by previous graduates during the Alumnae Investiture. This event marks the beginning of graduation events for the senior class and includes a keynote address from an alumna. Graduates celebrating reunion years assist with the ceremony, which includes “Gifts of Light” and “The Pledge.”

May 5, 2017 | 7:30 a.m. | Saint Margaret Mary Chapel
Each year, the First Friday Mass in May is dedicated to crowning Mary “Queen of the May” and honoring members of the school community who have died during the year. Alumnae, current parents and family members who have lost a loved one are welcome to join students and faculty and participate in a prayer of remembrance.
May 25, 2017 | 6 p.m. | Saint Margaret Mary Chapel
Members of the senior class celebrate Baccalaureate Mass in the Chapel, with parents sharing in this celebration of the Eucharist. Space is limited with admission by ticket only; tickets are distributed by the senior class advisor in May. Those not able to attend can view the event via live-streaming.
May 27, 2017 | 3 p.m. | Blaisdell Concert Hall
Culminating their high school years, the senior class celebrates their graduation during Commencement Exercises at the Blaisdell Concert Hall with family members and friends joining in the festivities. Admission is by ticket only with tickets distributed to seniors by their advisor in May.
In addition to honoring the new graduates, alumnae celebrating their 50th Class Reunion and those celebrating their 55th, 60th, 65th and 70th reunions are honored on-stage during the program.
Alumnae Reunion Events (Mass, Vino n’Vittles and Lu’au)
May 28, 2017 | 2 p.m. | Academy Campus
Lu’au festivities are open to all Academy graduates, with those celebrating reunion years hosting a special Mass in the Chapel to kick-off the day. After Mass, attendees can enjoy the complimentary Vino n’Vittles portion for pupu and fellowship before Lu’au in the Student Center. In addition to traditional Hawaiian food, the Lu’au features entertainment, often with special guest appearances by alumnae.
Ticket information and invitations are sent out each April for all the Lu’au events.
