Welcome
to the Sacred Hearts Academy Admissions Office! For over 90 years,
families and students have selected the Academy because of the school's
academic strength, the liveliness and warmth of the community and
the professional excellence and dedication of the faculty and staff.
Founded in 1909, Sacred Hearts Academy is an independent Catholic
elementary and high school for girls from Junior Kindergarten (JK)
to grade 12. The Academy offers a college preparatory education
to students with varied academic abilities, needs, religious traditions
and socio- economic backgrounds.
Any student who wants an Academy education is invited to apply
for admission. Admission to the Academy is awarded based on the
student's academic record, including test scores, related talents
and interests and teacher references.
There are several steps in the admissions process at Sacred Hearts
Academy, depending on what grade level the student is entering.
The admissions process should be completed by February 15 to quality
for the first-round of acceptances for the following school year.
However, the admissions process can be completed anytime throughout
the year. The number of students admitted and registered once the
school year has started depends on current openings in each grade
level.
To aid potential students interested in entering grades JK to 12,
the Academy holds an informational Open House in the spring and
fall.
In addition, I am available for additional information about the
Academy's admission requirements. Feel free to contact me for more
information about the school and the admissions process.
