Admission Process

Applying to Sacred Hearts Academy is a five-step process. To qualify for the Academy’s first-round of acceptances, the application process should be completed by December 31. However, students are invited to apply for admissions anytime throughout the year, with mid-year enrollment based on current openings in each grade level.

Step I: The Application

Complete and submit an application either online or obtain a paper copy.

The application processing fee of $50 should be paid via credit card or can be invoiced by online applicants or a check should be mailed with the completed paper application to:

Step II: Academic Records

A copy of the preschool report card should be submitted for all Senior Kindergarten applicants.

Copies of report cards for the current year and the last academic year is required for students applying for grades one to nine.

A transcript with grades from two complete academic years is required for students applying for grades 10 to 12.

Step III: Supporting Documentation

All applicants must submit a copy of their birth certificate (Preschool applicants must submit upon applying; all others upon enrollment).

Additional forms are also required, including the Teacher Reference Report. These forms and additional instructions, can be downloaded by selecting the appropriate grade level applying to below.

Step IV: Testing

Testing for students applying for grades Preschool to six will be scheduled by the Director of Admissions.

Test results from the SSAT are required for students applying for grades seven to 11.

Those applying for grade 12 should also submit results from the PSAT, SAT or ACT.

Step V: Interviews and/or Activity Session

Applicants for grades Preschool to six are not scheduled for an interview, but they participate in an activity session in the spring.

All students applying for grades seven to 12 will be scheduled for an interview with the Director of Admissions

Students in grades seven to nine will also need to attend an activity session in the spring.

If all admissions documentation is submitted by February 15, you can expect a decision letter by March 15.
