Parent Organization Activities
Throughout the year, the Parent Organization sponsors, organizes and provides volunteers for a myriad of Academy activities and functions.
In previous years, the Parent Organization staged the highly-anticipated “Fright Night,” a Halloween event for students and their families which featured trick-or-treating, games and the iconic Haunted House. It also has sponsored “Movie Day” at a theater or on campus.
Each January, parents spend months planning an Appreciation Lunch for the Academy’s teachers with décor, food and activities following a new theme.
And, this past year, the Parent Organization staged the inaugural “Na Mele, A Night of Music,” with performances by local musicians as well as members of the Academy ‘ohana. It was a memorable night that the parents hope will become an on-campus tradition.
In addition, the Parent Organization assists the school by staffing various special events, including the annual Science Symposium, Fall Bake Sale, Keiki Day and an array of workshops.
Be on the lookout for additional events on the horizon.
