The mission of the Development Office is to build the resources needed for the Academy to provide a quality education for young women into the 21st century. The Development Office works with Alumnae, parents, corporations and friends to increase the Academy’s resources for continued growth and enhancement.
Over the years, more than $3 million in endowment, $1 million in annual funds and $10 million in grants have come to the Academy to support capital development, professional development for faculty and staff, and financial aid and scholarships for students.
The Academy is grateful to its many supporters and volunteers who have helped the school throughout the years since it’s founding in 1909.
The Development Office works with individuals and groups interested in supporting the Academy through various means. The Director of Development provides current information and meets with individuals to:
- describe a variety of opportunities for giving to the school;
- assist them in considering gift options, including outright gifts, pledges, wills and bequests, securities or other.
The Development Office maintains confidential donor records to ensure proper stewardship of charitable gifts and endowments to the Academy.
