Academics in the High School (grades 9 to 12)

The Academy’s high school program prepares students to engage in life - successful as students, prosperous in careers and responsible as citizens.

Our program develops people with firm values and 21st century skills who understand the wider world and seek to make a difference in it. Our graduates are marked with academic competence, intellectual curiosity, communication skills and the capacity and desire to thrive in a rapidly changing, increasingly global community.

The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of a college bound student population diverse in interests as well as abilities.  Students take courses in English, social studies and theology every year along with courses in world languages, science, math, technology, performing and visual arts.  Over 10 Advanced Placement courses are offered.

The curriculum is designed to challenge students, help them develop critical-thinking, analytical and communication skills and become independent thinkers with firm values. This solid academic program, energized with an engaged interest and creativity, will be their foundation for success in college, career and life.

Sacred Hearts Academy offers wide ranging opportunities to participate in award winning programs, including: robotics, marching band, videography and speech as well as sports and academic teams. Extra curricular activities and clubs offer exciting ways to interact with each other and in the larger community.
